Ace Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi is currently receiving backlash from Twitter users over her lukewarm attitude during her husband, Banky W’s campaign exercise.
Banky W who was running for the House of Reps Seat, Eti-Osa Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, surprisingly lost to the Labour Party candidate, Thaddeus Atta, and netizens are partly blaming Adesua for it.
They maintained that Adesua wasn’t actively involved during the campaign process.
She was further compared to the likes of Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels who threw massive weight behind their husbands despite criticisms from cybernauts.

“I commend Mercy Johnson for campaigning hard for her husband, despite how she was bullied but ignored, she took it offline and he won eventually.
Adesua on the other hand didn’t campaign for Banky W but focused on Peter Obi online, Lessons learnt if you ask me”
