Lateef Adedimeji, a Nigerian actor, generated outrage on social media after releasing his own version of the Mr. Yakubu challenge.
Lateef also challenges rappers Falz and Vector, stating who they are.
Recalls that the two worked together on a song called ‘Yakubu,’ which is a follow-up single to Falz’s song with Tekno, ‘O Wa.’
The new song “YAKUBU” is about the recently ended 2023 election in Nigeria, which took place on February 25th. Falz and Vector collaborate to convey a message to the head of INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission).
Following that, the top rappers announced an open verse challenge, allowing netizens to join in on the fun.

Lateef Adedimeji took to Instagram to freestyle his rap verse in response to the challenge.
He went above and above the task by rapping in Yoruba with wit.

Lateef Adedimeji was seen dancing to the popular Mr. Yakubu challenge in a video shared on his Instagram profile, a fad that began on social media and has now gone viral. However, it was his post-dance speech that drew the most attention.
