Award-winning actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has bragged online about the incoming government in the country, hours after her name was included in the president-elect, Bola Tinubu’s list of committees.

Toyin Abraham shared photos from her trip to Canada with a bragging and pleading caption about the incoming government.

The mother of one claimed that Nigeria is about to experience a new dawn, a positive and great phase that has never happened. She also begged for the cooperation of citizens in prayers and love for the government.

She wrote, “We are about to experience a new dawn. A positive and great phase like we have never experienced before,I believe. So help us, God. Please, for once, let’s pray, support and show love to our government. Love and Light. I love you all.”

Moments ago, a list surfaced online claiming actress Eniola Badmus will be chairing the entertainment committee for Tinubu’s wearing in. The list includes names of top entertainment stars such as Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Saheed Balogun and others as members of the group.

This is not a surprise to many because Toyin Abraham had been an ardent supporter of Bola Tinubu during February 2023 presidential election.

Against all trolls and backlash, Toyin Abraham held fast to her support for the former lawmaker and Lagos state governor.

Trouble looms as netizens petition Toyin Abraham’s brands

Kemi Filani recalls that netizens petitioned one of the brands Toyin Abraham represents over her support for the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A post shared by controversial Esabod revealed that one of the popular brands Toyin Abraham worked for was petitioned to disassociate itself from the actress.

The unidentified writer claimed they would boycott the product if they refused to remove Toyin from the brand.

“This is to inform you that some of us will start boycotting our product due to one of your brand ambassadors Toyin Abraham, she is not a good and patriotic Nigerian for choosing to support a candidate and apolitical party who has brought us huge losses and pains. We want you to terminate her contract with your company,” the unknown petitioner wrote.
