An uneducated 70-year-old man named Hadi Usman has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree in science by Gombe State University after inventing a stove that runs on water and other exceptional items.
Hadi Usman is a Nigerian man who never had any formal education but is equipped with exceptional abilities. He invented a stove that runs on water and a generator that operates without fuel.
Hadi also invented a radio station, a radio transmitter, a Vespa engine helicopter, and a telephone (handset) from his living room way back in 1970.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media to Gombe State Governor, Safianu Danladi Mairiga shared on Twitter that Hadi was awarded the honorary degree at the convocation of Gombe State University.
Hadi has always been a genius, despite not having any formal education he memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of 12. He mentioned in an interview with Dailytrust that his journey as an inventor started when he started working as a technician for Vespa Motorcycle.

He added that it was while he was working as a Vespa technician that he created a mini two-seat helicopter. Hadi was the one who created the first private-owned radio station in Kano Nigeria.
He stated that nobody trained him on how to repair electronics/electrical appliances. ”All I know is that I used to visit electronics repairing workshops and whenever I see how one performs a particular function, I learn it instantly”, he said.
Speaking on how he got his inspiration as a scientist, Hadi said that as an untrained scientist, he relies on trial and error for their creations. He said if his intended experiment succeeds, he document the procedures for future reference.
Hadi said his advice to young people is to persevere in whatever vocation they are doing even without government assistance. They should not be discouraged.
