A brilliant Nigerian lady named Atilola Akinmokunwa who failed to gain admission into the university for 8 years has finally achieved her dream by graduating with a 4.63 first-class degree at the Osun State University.

Atilola attempted to enrol into the university after she graduated from high school but was denied admission 8 times before she was finally admitted to study Public Health at the Osun State University.

Despite failing to get admission eight different times, Atilola did not give up.  Now she is graduating with an outstanding 4.63 cumulative grade point, the overall best-graduating student and the best-graduating student in her department.

Atilola shared a post on her Facebook page celebrating her achievements and expressed how she was able to graduate and win awards despite the challenges she faced.

”Congratulations to ME on the occasion of my convocation. I’m a living proof of God’s grace, I gained admission into OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY exactly 8 YEARS after finishing from Secondary school when I was almost giving up,” he said.

Atilola was one of the only four students to graduate with first class in the Public Health department of the university. She was the best-graduating student in the department and the overall best-graduating student of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, 2021/2022 class.

She was also awarded the MICCOM prize for being the best graduating student in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, 2021/2022 class at Osun State University.
