The actress revealed that she had suffered so much in life, having sold pounded yam, kerosene, and raw yam on the streets before finally making it in the industry.
Kemi Korede, who is popularly known for her roles in Yoruba movies, shared her story on her Instagram page.
According to her, she remembers vividly the days she had to hawk different items just to make ends meet.

In the post, the actress encouraged her followers not to give up on their dreams, saying that if she was able to make it in life, then anyone could.
Her post read, “When I came across this song on TikTok. I had a flashback of my past when things were so hard. I remember when I was hawking pounded yam, kerosene, raw yam, or anything that comes out at that season. Growing up was so difficult. I suffered so much to make a way for myself.
I never imagined I could come this far… But I was determined that I have to be great to take care of my parent. Here I am today, Alhamdulilah Wa Shukran.
