On Thursday, Yetunde Bakare, a Nigerian actress, expressed gratitude to God after narrowly escaping a fire that broke out in her Lagos State apartment. According to her Instagram post, the fire was caused by a 25-liter petrol keg.
Despite the harrowing experience, the actress was thankful that no lives were lost and that the fire did not consume the entire structure.
In her post, she also mentioned her shock and fear during the incident, questioning how people manage to record videos while under such immense pressure.
She also mentioned that her neighbor’s window and DSTV dish were damaged in the fire, but she considered it a minor issue compared to the possibility of losing her entire home and livelihood.
